Mentoring
Mentoring is a structured relationship (of not less than 12 months) between 2 or more people where older, more experienced individuals provide concrete help to the younger person as he/she goes through life.  A mentor is a positive role model who encourages youth to develop good social skills, responsible values, a positive identity  and serves a vital role in helping youth develop important life skills such as decision-making, conflict resolution, and long range planning.
